Facial Fillers
As we get older, our faces begin to show the effects of
gravity, sun exposure and many years of facial muscle
movement - such as smiling, frowning and chewing. The
underlying tissues that keep our skin looking youthful
and plumped up begin to break down, often leaving laugh
lines, smile lines, wrinkles and facial creases over the
areas where this muscle movement occurs.
Soft-tissue fillers, such as Collagen, Restylane or
Radiesse (also known as Radiance) can help fill in these
lines and creases, temporarily restoring a smoother,
more youthful-looking appearance.
Facial fillers are injected beneath the skin and plump
up creased and sunken areas of the face. Facial fillers
can also add fullness to the lips and cheeks. Injectable
facial fillers may be used alone or in conjunction with
a resurfacing procedure, such as a laser treatment.
Laugh lines, crow's
feet, nasolabial folds, lips, and other facial creases
can be rejuvenated using injectable facial fillers.
The
results from facial fillers are immediate and the
procedure is virtually painless.
